Judicial Decision on Euthanasia in India

Supreme Court of India has laid down guidelines for brain-dead patients or other patients who are in vegitative state are living on life-support. The Court has drawn a line between Active and Passive Euthanasia and has prescribed procedures for approaching High Courts in country. It has opened an Exit door to such patients.
